We are delighted to announce The Film Office has been awarded the management of Enfield Council’s Film Service.
From 1st April 2019 we will provide a one stop shop for all enquiries and applications for filming within the borough. We are very much looking forward to working with Enfield Council, the residents of the borough and production companies alike in highlighting the diverse potential Enfield has to offer as London’s newest filming destination.
Enfield is the northern most borough in London and one of its largest. Formerly three separate municipals of Southgate, Enfield and Edmonton, the borough encompasses a vast wealth of green space including several large parks such as Oakwood, Jubilee and Trent County Park and an architectural makeup of traditional Victorian terraced housing and more modern cul-de-sacs. It hosts an array of fantastic locations for filming such as the iconic Forty Hall and Estate – a stunning 1620s Manor House.
The Film Office has a proven track record in providing and maintaining professional, considerate and proactive film management. We work hard to maintain an industry leading film friendly service while exploring the benefits that filming can bring to both it’s residents and the wider community.
Our reputation within the industry means that we are the first port of call for location managers and productions when looking for locations to source, plan and manage their location filming requirements with ease and efficiency.
The Film Office Director Dominic Reeve-Tucker said
“We are delighted to add Enfield as a client borough and look forward to opening its doors to the creative industries. London is now the second busiest city in the world for filmmaking and its screen industries are a global success story. We are dedicated to providing a holistic approach to film management in order to sustain filming in the long-term. Our successful track record and leading reputation within the industry has been recognised by Enfield Council and we look forward to delivering a service that works for and benefits both the borough and industry.”
Enfield Council Leader, Cllr Nesil Caliskan, said
“Enfield Council is happy to be embarking on a new partnership with The Film Office, London’s leading film service management provider, to showcase Enfield’s varied locations within the borough and increase connection to the film industry. Enfield has a wide range of properties and buildings to rival any Borough and its close proximity to both the City and the M25 will make it the ideal setting for large and small production companies alike. Enfield also has meanwhile spaces that can be developed for prop storage and unit bases and we will be working with The Film Office in developing other specialisms that cater to the film industry.”
