New jobs board launched on ScreenSkills website
ScreenSkills have unveiled a new jobs board in response to industry demand. It invites employers and hirers to submit off-screen opportunities in the screen industries for positions at all experience levels. Posting jobs will be free to allow the widest possible number of prospective candidates to view and access vacancies.

Young Animator of the Year launches to discover and support new talent
Run by ScreenSkills and ACCESS:VFX, Young Animator of the Year (YAY) UK is now open for applications for those aged 11-18. It encourages young people to pursue creative skills to help build the animation talent of tomorrow. The programme aims to discover, nurture and celebrate young talent across the UK and support them on their animation journey.

Deaf awareness training
Screenskills in association with Signpost Productions this deaf awareness programme provides awareness of issues faced by Deaf people working in the industry and how working conditions can be improved.

Mentoring and Returning to the screen industries
Returning to the industry after a career break can be daunting, whether it is reconnecting with people in your network, updating and refining your existing skills or job-hunting, there are many useful ways to equip yourself with the confidence and knowledge for a career comeback. ScreenSkills Mentoring Network can help find a mentor to provide support, guidance and encouragement to those looking to return to the industry.
