As we roll into the summer months we are set to welcome yet more exciting productions into the borough. After a successful year in 2022 showing a 30% increase in filming on 2021, here at the Enfield Film Office, managed by The Film Office there are no signs of that slowing down in 2023. We’ve gathered some recent production highlights below, check them out!
Under Armour
Under Armour took to Durants Park recently to film scenes for their ad campaign ‘Grind Now. Glory Later’ that aims to motivate those training and playing in the darkest of winter. The production used a drone to capture shots of a nearby tower block from Durants Parks. Naturally filming with a drone comes with its own complications and extra measures that have to be put in place to make sure all goes smoothly, including consultation with local residents as well as liaising with relevant council departments and the MET Police Film Unit who help out with drone filming applications. Check out the ad below!
Premier League
One of our fantastic private locations in Enfield was utilised recently for a Premiere League Trading Cards ad. The production set up at the canteen of the Private Grammar School location to film school kids trading cards over their lunch break. This location is a versatile space with features such as vast playing fields, cricket nets and a variety of class and staff rooms. Take a look below!
Percival x Champion
Across the year we welcome all manor of fashion shoots from high end designers to small streetwear brands and everything in between. Back in April Percival Menswear & Champion brought their spring/summer collab collection to Bush Hill Park to shoot their ad campaign and website stills, featuring athletes such as basketball player Joel Henry, tennis player Liam Broady and popular football Youtuber Dan Cutting. Check it out below!
Top Boy
Here at the Enfield Film Office we were delighted to welcome the highly anticipated new season of Top Boy into the borough. It’s been over a year since season 4 arrived onto Netflix , and now the countdown is on until the show wraps up for good with its fifth and final run. The first teaser for the last instalment was recently released by Netflix – and the streamer has also revealed September is roughly when fans can expect to bid their final farewells to Dushane and co.
The production filmed scenes on the Brookbank Estate around with a chase scene taking place through various courtyards and corridors. Jacob Hughes-Rodgers, the film officer on the job said “It’s always exciting to have such renowned shows visit the borough and Top Boy is no exception. However, Top Boy’s explosive content naturally comes with it’s own sensitivities that require in-depth planning across multiple council boroughs as well as the involvement of the MET Police Film Unit to minimise local impact and for public reassurance. With all this in place Top Boy’s visit to the borough came and went without a hitch.” We can’t wait to watch when it hits our screens later this year.
Here is the teaser trailer below and keep your eyes peeled for Enfield!
