Enfield’s Wealth of Filming

Its been a busy few months for filming in Enfield! The Enfield Film Office, managed by The Film Office has seen a multitude of different shoots across the borough, check out some of our highlights below!

Macmillan Cancer Support

Charity Macmillan Cancer Support filmed scenes at 2 locations in the borough for their most recent campaign. That aims to show that that whatever you need, Macmillan is here to help with questions around cancer, work, money or life, finding the right support for each individual.

Macmillan took to Firs Farm in Edmonton, a fantastic park location boasting open fields and woodland, to film a group of young men playing football and having fun. The production also filmed inside a private property at Regan House with scenes of a family gathering and a young women in her bedroom.

Ocado

Outsider Ltd took to Elmer Close in the borough to film a commercial for Ocado’s new inspired by Disney ‘magical meal bundles’. The production filmed their Ocado delivery van driving up the road and deliver to a family on Elmer Close and added in post-production are adorable animated food products as they bounce their way up the drive in their new home. Jamie T Music Video 

New Music Video for indie musician Jamie T chose Lavender Hill Cemetery to play host to an interesting music video for new song ‘Between the Rocks’ which features Jamie T himself singing the lyrics from a coffin with a window on it! Filming at cemeteries comes with careful planning needed to make sure things run smoothly and respectfully in a location such as Lavender Hill which is still a working cemetery. The shoot ran smoothly and we think the results are great, check it out below!

National Lottery

The National Lottery filmed scenes outside a news agents within the borough for their latest ad entitled ‘The Chase’. This endearing commercial follows a lost lottery ticket that flies out of the winners hands before gathering up quite the crowd who finally manage to return it to the winner. The production filmed someone buying a lottery ticket which gets blown out of the shop door as someone enters and blown down the street and a chase ensues. With approximately 50 people of street and a road closure in place, productions of this scale require attentive preparation and management which allowed the shoot to run smoothly – take a look at the final product below!
